Thanks for these videos! I'm loving this series, and I intend to listen to it all. ...Some thoughts on Edmond O'Brien: i have conflicting thoughts on his portrayal. To me, O'Brien comes across as a bad guy. The nasal voice and the extremely rude manner are such that they are off-putting, even tho I often like the conflicted/flawed hero type. Also, his voice doesn't stand out from the others, as Bob Bailey's does. If I'm not paying full attention, I can lose track of which voice is him. When Bailey delivers his lines, there's no doubt about who is speaking. The same cannot be said about O'Brien. He does not distinguish himself from others while on mic. To put this in perspective: I conduct musical groups. I can stand in front of a 50-voice choir and. know which singer is off. O'Brien doesn't quite make it that way. ...Not a major criticism; just a conversation topic. Thanks again for these.

The story about the high school burning down sounds as if it's basically the same story as an episode with Bob Bailey later in the series, but a different version.

Johnny Dollar is one of the best Old Time Radio shows ever produced, but I really don't care for Edmund O'Brien .
