CYPRUS Protaras - SHOCKING Prices Or Affordable ?

We are back here in August, last time we visited was 2008 with 17 family members .This year its just 2 of us so very different. Seeing the prices is very good gives us an idea of how much to take with us .
A lot of bars are still there from all those years ago .We are looking forward to it .

Just got back from 8 days family holiday in Salou, 9th time i believe. Still get €2 pints in the pubs run by the locals but jumps to €3.50 minimum in bars run by Brits and more in the up market bars in general. Paphos was like that and i found that the little local owned bars were the best for afternoon drinking with a large bottle of local beer at €1.50.

Defiantly keep these type of videos going Kev, the weather during the summer months is good every where, so the cost of food and drink is massively important 👍

Hi Kevin. After we spoke about Protaras in The Vault in February and watching your Cyprus videos, we are returning in 2 weeks time, 5 days in Protaras, 5 days in Paphos. Flora's cocktail bar (as it was called then) was just the small ice cream/gelateria section and after a big fire, the whole building was refurbed and now looks like Flora's is the whole length now. Loving these videos and seeing all the changes since we were there in 2016. Hope you enjoyed Cyprus and Protaras in particular.

I bet MacD gets hammered later at night with all the party animals. Got to admit cocktails seem very affordable but guess lots plump for the bucket of beer. Last time I was in Zante at Laganas it was goldfish bowls of cocktails to party share 😜 Hopefully it will start getting busier once the main season gets into gear. Cheers DougT

After madalena turn left in 1 km you will be in pernera area it's amazing there good restaurants speedy Gonzales, knights pub, sizlers restaurant makes the best steaks in Cyprus
