Ireland still gives me chills. I absolutely LOVE the ethereal quality of her voice and the staging. I hope the live performance lives up to this billing. Georgia is legit although I question what Miriam Bigvava is wearing. Praying for a good voice rest for your girl Freya Skye. Her song legit would kill at adult Eurovision.

Albanian stage is angelic as kejtlin voice and fits with the lyrics written by herself. Her live vocals are wow. Public will like her. I think it might be a dark horse. By the way what adventure you had in Italy. Thanks buddy ❤️🇦🇱

To the viewers, please vote for Kazakhstan! The live show always happens when it is in the middle of the night in Kazakhstan. So many Kazakh kids don’t end up voting during the show as they are asleep for school the next day. Please show some support to them! And maybe if they consistently end up in the top 5, Kazakhstan can get a chance to participate in the adult Eurovision!!! Plus David Charlin is so talented and 100% deserves a good placing or even to win the entire show! ❤

My thoughts:

Albania: Honestly, this is lovely. Love the outfit the staging looks great and the vocals are flawless, hope jurors show this love because this is very underrated.

Italy: Yknow what, like what you said, the music video wasn't my cup of tea, I actually much prefer the live performance. Love the colour scheme, I think this is really nice, definitely elevated for me.

Malta: Yknow what, despite the song being just alright to me, visually this is great, love this colour scheme, suits the song so well. One of the few songs particularly of the first seven rehearsals where the stage feels full, camera angles are really good, they've done the best they could do, well done Malta!

North Macedonia: My first thoughts, I dont know if you seen the posts the official jesc page posted about north Macedonia but they always introduced Irina and Lara as a duo (also for some reason didnt mention Jovan) so I dont know why its now Lara ft. Irina and Jovan, kinda strange to me (like they posted about them like meet Lara and Irina representing North Macedonia and when the clip came out it was like, oh theres someone rapping too). The outfits I'm a bit confused by, it gives me somewhat of a circus vibe especially Jovans jacket and idk how that fits in unless its suggesting that the "relationship drama" is like a circus. Maybe I'm reading into it wrong 😂. It looks fun which works well with the song, vocals are great.

Poland: Love the styling for this, vocally it sounds great. I dont really get Poland's recent obsession with having a graphic fly across the screen half way through the song 😂. I think televoters will love this.

Portugal: I was surprised to hear the vocal during the chorus, I was so used to the laid back rocky vocal and I wasn't expecting it to be quite that punchy. The staging and styling is great. I like it but I understand if its not some peoples cup of tea.

Serbia: Fully expected a story to be told on stage and looks like we have one. Staging looks very interesting, the transition to the trumpet part was pretty seemless, this might get quite a bit of love from jurors but also perhaps televoters might vote it somewhat.

Ukraine: Love the outfit, its perfect for the song, staging is great although a tad bit empty. Camera angles are great.

Netherlands: Great stage show, love the outfit, great charisma, this is going to get a massive online vote, I think definitely potential to win the online vote and jurors will love it (very much a potential winner).

Kazakhstan: Great vocals, love the LED, the outfit reminds me of Kristian Kostov's ESC outfit but white, very futuristic. I feel like people are slightly sleeping on this, I think this is quality.

Georgia: The staging is decent, ngl, dont love the outfits, I prefer particularly Mariam's music video outfits (both). I'm guessing it has a meaning because the MV had a lot of messaging but yeah not obsessed with the outfits. Vocals as expected are great (potential jury winner)

Armenia: Sooo glad they changed outfits from the first rehearsal because I was slightly worried (it looked initially like they had their actual performance outfits first rehearsal but it just didnt look the part imo. Stagings darker and a bit less lively than I thought it'd be. I was thinking more neon like the MV. The dancing too I thought would be a bit more like the MV. I already know this will get a high online vote. Vocally its great, I'll be honest though, idk if its the camera angles or the staging being mainly dark, it feels a bit dead or like the energy of the performance isn't matching the song. She can sing very well though, love her outfit btw, it really pops out from her dancers.

Spain: People have been kind of dissing the outfit, I actually like it. smart of him not to sing the lalalas in the chorus so he is less likely to be out of breath. Cool colour scheme (sort of what I expected from Armenia ngl) The camera angles are quite good. Out of the bops, this stands out for me.

UK: Bless Freya, hope she gets well soon and is able to sing this on the night. Visually it looks great. There are some people giving out about whether its fair to have playback in the recap but I dont really see an issue with it. I'm voting for the UK, quality song, great staging and Freya's brilliant.

Ireland: My home country, so unbelievably proud of Sophie, she sounds amazing, love the staging and the dress. I mean I obviously hope jurors won't leave us in the dust like 2019 (I mean itd be kind of cruel tbh 😂) Sophie and the delegation could not have done more, they've smashed it. Great camera angles (although and this goes for pretty much every entry, stop with all the wide angles, one or two is fine but they (the organisers) always overdo it🤦‍♀️👏) (they must have a quota or something 😂) So proud of Sophie, I dont normally vote for my own country but I will this time coz its brilliant. Sophie, regardless of the result will make us proud.(also Sophie has a cold but the vocal is brilliant).

France: bless Lissandro, a lot of people have been quite negative about his vocals. Hopefully theyll improve. The staging is amazing (one of my favourite stagings). Hope he smashes it on the night because he is giving the performance welly.

Also, the sound mixing for all of the rehearsals today (France, Spain, UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan) was poor.

Albania - sounds great looks great.
Italy - very bold staging is good although I thought there wasn't much emotion on her face.
Malta - personally I think the dancing is a bit iffy in this clip, especially the fact that they zoom out for a lot of it.
North Macedonia - for the second year in a row they're only giving some of the singers mics which I think is really weird, although it's good Jovan has something to do.
Poland - the dancers fill the stage great, the lighting is very good and Laura has good stage presence.
Portugal - I liked the song before but this I don't love what he's doing during the first Setenta part. I liked that it was pared back and he does that the second time so hopefully he's able to pull back the rasp a little by the lives.
Serbia - the staging here is so crisp and the dancer helps the sleepy feel.
Ukraine - I like the song but something is happening here where she doesn't sound the best, hoping it's just a technical problem and that she's ok.
Armenia - she sounds incredible and great colours.
France - I think he's pushing his voice a little cos I don't think it sounds good personally.
Georgia - the voice still sounds good and the dancing is good but I don't love the outfits.
Ireland - very clever to have a white dress and then have gold lighting to imitate the costume change from the MV, she sounds perfect.
Netherlands - Was my winner pre-rehearsals, I think this has less energy than the NF, assuming this is because she struggled a little with breath control.
Kazakhstan - absolutely love the LED, he sounds just like the studio cut, don't love his styling.
Spain - interesting that he's not singing the la la las, kinda wish he would cos it doesn't sound great on my ears.
UK - hoping Freya is recovered enough by Sunday because it would be such a shame to not be able to give 100% after so long, staging looks great.

for some reason that I can't explain, Italy has gone up so high in my ranking after the rehearsals. but my usual favourites are still the same: UK, Georgia, Netherlands, Ireland and Armenia.

IRELAND! Really surprised me.
I didn't expect her vocals to be this powerful. Studio version is good, but I like the live version much better. I can't find any flaws in this performance.

Hi Shane!
First of all: Those kids are son talented! None of them deserves last place.
Secondly: my favs (georgia, the Netherlands and Ireland) are still my favourites to win the contest ( even though Georgia's headpieces look terrible 😂).
Thirdly: my 5th place are two countries : UK and Portugal and after this rehearsal I think that Portugal will dropp down a few places. Nicolas's voice sounded very bad. As he was sick. I am fan of rock but it was much. I hope only this part of the song sounds so bad.
Overall great rehersals! Can't wait for tomorrow!

I adore Kejtlin's voice, and the song. Pleasantly surprised by Italy - as you said that music video set expectations pretty low though...! I'm still not convinced by Malta. I just don't think the song is particularly strong, very one note. Definitely an improvement on the nf though.

The thing is Ava Max and Farrell Williams wrote the song so of course it’s gonna be adult themed. They just twisted it and said it was about a toxic friendship🤣
