This game was just a consultation prize and basically it was a guaranteed Super Bowl win, from the NFC Championship Game between the Cowboys vs 49ers. The Chargers stood no chance against the 49ers, the 49ers won the Super Bowl 2 weeks before.

Three plays in this game have always stuck out at me (see timestamps below).
If the Chargers connect on these plays, it could have been a shootout of a game rather than a blowout.
They had to play perfect on offense; these plays were there to be had.
If you miss your shot vs the 94 Niners, it's game over, & so it was.

28:30 I said this is exactly what neil o'donnell should have done on 4th and 2 .. 2 weeks prior .. deliver it quickly while still in the field of play and let him run it in .. he likely scores .. they designed it incorrectly and instead foster kept running into the endzone and into a crowd of defenders who knocked the ball down .. low iq shit .. here they ran it perfectly

The game aside and im not a fan of either team...it was what it was... a far better deep talent roster team beating on a team that just was not as good and had no depth...the worst was having to endure the bias MNF crew spewing how bad the chargers were even before plays were snapped and how they could masterbate to footage of the 49ers offense all day...
