The chorus lets me think about my last four years as universitary student. It has been a lonely and dark period for me, i totally isolated myself on purpose and I didnt live the life i could.. free of mind. And now that I try to crawl back to the places I didnt experience, i feel like “i don t know why, i don t know why.. i return to the scenes of these crimes...”

Okay okay. Picture this. It’s 2015 and you’re sitting in the car while your mom is driving you home from school. You hear an eerie guitar riff and than “if only you had known me....before the accident”. The song finishes on the radio and you loved it! Too bad you didn’t hear what it was called.

3 years later you’re planning to move from you’re current house to a house out of state. You’re waiting for a showing to be over and an odd feeling wash over you and you hear the same ominous guitar riff from a few years back. This time you make sure to inform yourself of what it’s called, but with no way to really listen to the song, you slowly forget it existed.

The year is 2019. You didn’t sleep last night and it’s five in the morning. You’re listening to Spotify when something comes on in your recommended, you swear you’ve heard it before.
