Показать описание
Discover how to install and update BlenderGis, an add-on that allows importing GIS data files into Blender, such as Shapefile, raster image, geotiff, DEM, OpenStreetMap, and xml. This detailed tutorial will show step by step how to uninstall and install the latest version of BlenderGis, as well as how to use some of its tools.
First of all, it is necessary to uninstall the old version of BlenderGis if you already have it installed. To do this, go to Edit, Preferences and type "BlenderGis" in the search bar. Click on "Remove". If an error occurs, uncheck the add-on, close Blender, and repeat the procedure to uninstall it.
In Blender, go to Add-ons, click on "Install", and select the downloaded add-on file. Type "BlenderGis" in the Add-ons search bar and check the "3D View BlenderGIS" box.
Now, let's add additional information to the scene. Click on "Web Geodata", "Get OSM" and choose the OpenStreetMap data you want to incorporate. In this case, I chose data related to buildings. Select "Elevation from object" so that the buildings are placed on the terrain and click on "OK". Note that the add-on brought the corresponding buildings from the Open Street Map site.
BlenderGis also allows adding other available information to the scene. Note that, this time, we added several other layers that can be useful for different user needs.
Using BlenderGis is a powerful tool for working with GIS data in Blender. With it, it is possible to create detailed and realistic 3D scenes with precise data. Updating the add-on is important to ensure the use of the latest features and bug fixes.
