Hey I’m at Ms, RRT and to all the students I just want to say to keep fighting the good fight. School is rough the board exams are rough but the field itself is wonderful. It’s a really rewarding career, it’s variable in terms of what RTs can do and the pay can be really good. All of the nights of intense study will be worth it guys!!!

I'm just getting started and I can already tell it's a no nonsense program.
It's intensive and when dealing with any medical programs... well we all the professionals working on us to know their stuff.
Here's to the current stress for the future success!

You're right. It's tough to stay positive all the time, and I think that's ok. My last semester was definitely my toughest, and my grades slipped. At the end of the day, you just got to put your head down and keep going. And a good vent every now and again.

I'm starting my FIRST YEAR as BS in Respiratory Therapy student and I am so excited! Then I saw this, and I was like "shit, I'll be stressed out for the next 4 years" But I'm still EXCITED. Thank you for your vids! Ur actually the only respiratory therapy focused YT channel that I know. Good luck with your studies! Long live for all that RTs and wannabeRTs!

I’m definitely for the study videos!!! Especially since we’ll be starting mechanical vents and neonates/peds next semester and I’m all a mess just thinking about how I’m going to prepare and study for it. Thankfully I’m on Summer break, but it’s crazy after watching your video how all the stress and anxiety cane back so easily! Haha!

Hemodynamics is a killer. It’s really interesting if you understand what’s going on. Good luck on your final stretch.

We went over the syllabus during a mandatory session, and they revealed that every single test we take in the program is cumulative. Is that how most RT programs' are structured?

I graduated in 2012 and in my opinion the first half of school wasn’t to bad since it was more memorization than anything but the second half was tough. I agree Ventilator settings was the toughest course. My advise if your school has vent machines get your hands of them, pressure settings made more sense for me when I was able to see it in action.

Ma'am, you have some beautiful eyes! I've suffered from severe asthma all my life and really want to make a difference in someone's life when it comes to things like that, other things of course but yeah. I was worried about starting college at 29/30 and very insecure about my age but I want to press on and get started asap! I'm a pretty tolerant person and focused, just worried my schizophrenia will try to bring me down more, I've been fighting it since age 10 and manage to be productive in society even just a bit. I'm currently a care giver, but I want better income and a more fulfilling career. Thanks for the videos, I'm glad I found you today!
