LUGANSK, DONBASS - Virtual City Tour - Obronnaya street

Walking tour Lugansk city - In this city walk, we will walk along one of the central streets of Lugansk city - "Oboronnaya" street, the length of the street is 6.1 km. This street got its name in connection with the events of 1919. When the inhabitants of the city withstood the defenses in the Civil War, and along this street they carried ammunition to the battlefield. The construction of the street began in the 1920s. In 1929, Lugansk National University named after T. Shevchenko began its work. In the 1930s, the Lugansk Academic Theater was built. In 1976, the bus station began its work. In 1984, the largest regional children's hospital was opened. We will start our walk from the bus station and walk to the "Kristal" shopping center, turn to the "Gorky" library and in the "Memory" Park we will finish our walk.
