Quake II 100% Speedrun in 1:18:43 [PB]

Some clarification: 100% is all kills/secrets which are tracked below my timer (red & green numbers in two different columns). Kills are on the left and secrets are on the right. There is one map where you can only get 3/4 secrets because the last secret doesn't get flagged / counted properly by the game. You still have to get the secret.

This game is a huge part of my childhood. I never had the CD music in though - but it's very atmospheric and dark without it.

That was a really impressive and entetainig run. I never saw any 100 % runs before, but just realized this is a great way to relive all the old levels from my childhood, in a short time. I liked the way you used differnet weapons in perfect ways - like the railgun to smash multiplies enemies in line. Amazing stuff. I watched at 2x - wow, my head is a little spinny now.. hah. Good job.

Is it just me, or is the audio a few seconds behind the visual cues? Guns are fired but the sounds come in 5 seconds later. Someone tell me that you're having similar issues.

This is the first PC game that I heard with an amazing Altec Lansing 5.1 surround sound setup, in the 90's. I was blown away and new from that moment PC gaming was my life.

I remember one Voodoo graphics accelerators came out and this game was looking so sweet in OpenGL :)

about 17 min, there was a trick with lasers, it was posible to push a barrel across the lasers and stop it for a while until barrel explode...
