He doesn't notice the way how the Pepsi room can't exist in the space it's in, he doesn't realize the bauble is missing because he already picked it up, he repeatedly checks the same rooms over and over again, he passes by the absent Shrek twice before realizing it's missing... but he notices the bathroom mirrors and manages to almost hit several requirements for the best ending in his first playthrough.

I’m amazed by how completely unfazed you were at the mirrored Underhalls! It completely messed up my muscle memory and sense of direction, but you speed through it as if it were always like that.

Observations (as someone who has watched a number of playthroughs and analyses):
1. For someone who doesn't seem to be following a guide/many if any hints, you made a lot more progress than most before triggering the house fire for the first time. Neat!

Edit(s):
2. Love how confused you were by the urinals in the women's restroom, given that (I think) you failed to notice the signs had switched from before you triggered the bathroom fight.
3. Going out of your way for the TV, even on the repeat. Nice!

having seen multiple playthroughs of multiple different people, i'm surprised by how many don't notice the various areas having an identical layout to the house.
and then there is pumpkin man, who at 1:35:49 recognizes that the layout is the same as the dog area, but not that both of them are the same as the house. beautiful :D

All the blind playthroughs ive seen of this wad were either people with moderate skill at doom or completely new to the scene. Seeing a Doom God play this really is a whole new experience.

This wad does a great job using the mechanics of GZDoom to make something new. I like that you don't need to care about the backstory/lore to enjoy playing it.

It is interesting to see a DOOM pro-player playing a WAD that is not a traditional DOOM map, like Grove, or this, and being forced not to see them as traditional DOOM maps, but something closer to point-and-click adventure games.

Classic decino:

Accidentially triggering the transition from Keycard house to the Skull key house just by wandering outside.

Humping every wall, while completely missing the sinks that actually do something.

Killing the big dog, which was lifelinked to the dog he actually cared about.

At least you showed Nightmare difficulty. I couldn't find anyone else doing it!

The name "Navidson" at 1:02:43 must be a reference to the book " the house of leaves" which is a fricking masterpiece telling the story of a guy living in a house with a larger interior than the exterior of the house . Everyone should try that book, it's a unique experience .

The fact it eclipses the dedicated doom community, to game review/lore channels, & even some of the big names in yt gaming writ large; it might not be the biggest thing to happen to oldschool doom, but maybe one of the biggest things to happen for doom in recent memory. Hats off to the maker.

Stayed for about 3 hours of this. Seen a fair bit of the map already but decino discovered even more i didn't know about. No clipping out of reality "in the wrong places" actually sending you to the backrooms for example. That was a very cool little touch. Must've taken the mapper a long LOOOONG time to put this together. I feel a Cacoward coming for it.

I'm glad you enjoyed this level, thank you for playing it! Even for those who know all the mapping tricks, I think it's difficult to deny the amount of skill and planning required to make this wad, and it's really like a small horror game release. For me it pushes all the right buttons; liminal spaces, doom cute, mystery and misery, twin peaks and silent hill vibes, and of course - Doom. In all a really impressive and well made wad.

I literally went insane at 1:55:25 as i knew of this secret and seeing a blind playthrough discover it made me extremely hyped and happy.

It’d be more terrifying if by the time you reach the second stage of the house, not only your weapons become smooth, but the status bar face’s expression starts being more elaborate (e.g. the eyes blinking)
