Bro I literally wasted two hours of my life trying to fix this issue after I installed Kaspersky Anti-Virus (which I learned is infamous for causing this specif problem), and only when I found your video I was finally able to put an end to my suffering. I was legit losing my marbles, getting more and more desperate, until this video. JUST CLICK TO UPDATE DRIVERS! I didn't need to uninstall anything. I right-clicked on my only option under Device Manager---Sound ----Realtek High Definition. It said "click to update drivers, " I did and VOILA!! 1 minute later sound was restored. Yay! Thanks so much MYou!

This is the way I solved my Audio problem :
Device manager > sound, video, and game > Right click all 3 files one at a time > uninstall device
Then Re- start your device
