That Bass sound is amazing, drums are unbeliveable too.... This album is really underrated, it has some of the heaviest Metallica riffs ever..

My two cents: the bass is instantly more clear and audible in the intro, but also the rest of the song. It's great (especially that bass growl at 5:25 that just about every remaster leaves out). Outside of the thunderous fills, the snare, kick and cymbals sound a little quiet, especially during the vocal sections. The panned vocals from James are a bit loud, overall. Still, this is a marked improvement over the original, which sounds like a brick wall converted into a sound wave.

Holy crap and people say thier newer stuff isn't half as good.,
This song still blows my away. Easily on par with the black album, if not better!
especially that intro.
Also that riff during the chorus, its tasty.

This is amazing, DM is probably Metallica's most underrated album and it finally got the touch it deserved. You should remaster the whole album if you've got the time!

I really like that your mixes don't take any character away from metallica's tone and overall sound. In fact, the way you make the mixes fill up with James' voice almost calls back to their early work, but in a modern way. If I was them, I would hire you immediately, and get right to work :)

Omg! Hetfield's vocals are so clear I can perfectly understand the lyrics! I just think that maybe the guitar and the drums are a bit low in the vocal sections, but still it's a great remix!
