Glyfada Beach - Corfu island - Greece

Glyfada is a one kilometer long beach with golden sand that gently shelves into the sea, crystal clear waters facing the open ocean. The beach is surrounded by cliffs with trees.. There are the usual sunbeds and water sports and beach bars for all budgets and all tastes.
Glyfada is very popular and can get very crowded in high season. Very attractive for families.
The waters are shallow at first, but deepen sharply further. The beach is known for strong currents at the northern end, with warning flags for swimmers.
Glyfada is an amazing beach, probably the best in Corfu.
