The curvature of that roofline! It almost looks chopped; and it flows nicely with those ‘flyin’ fins.👏🤗

Plymouth is the star of the Forward Look, from the brilliant mind of Virgil Max Exner. Suddenly it's 1960. All ready for space flight Forward to the future. Best FINS of all time, beautiful.

Simplemente maravilloso, encantador!!! Una obra de arte el diseño, como tantos otros en esos años. Slu2 desde Rivera, Uruguay 🇺🇾

That model and year Fury, had to get as many head turns as the 59 Cadillac fins did. I don't recall seeing many of these cars as a kid in the early to mid 60s.

Incredible, stem to stern, inside and out. Nowadays, one has to stare at the badge to figure out the make.

Funky cool, with the push button gear selector and the dash mounted rear view mirror.

Tailfins, fender skirts, whitewalls, faux continental kit, chrome - what more could you want? Must be a big block 360 CID under the hood. I would find that dash speedo-pod too gadgety and distracting. Great looking Fury.

And by new solid way we mean zero rust prevention techniques. In fact we are solidly sure your car will rust to bits in a few short years unless you live in a desert.

Beautiful car.

The only thing missing was the Sonoramic Commando engine option.

I thought those cars had flats on the steering wheel 🤔

Why didn't Plymouth and Dodge make any high end cars with luxury items like power windows. That car looks like it should have some higher end accessories. Cadillac, Oldsmobile, Pontiac and Buick all had high end models that were known to have power windows and seats and even antenna's, but the Plymouth and Dodge ( Chevy too) models rarely had luxury power accessories except for power steering and brakes.

How it didn't rust into the ground by now is beyond me.

1961 is the ultimate design. Ok, 58 too.

These cars weren't that common even when they were new.
