To those wondering, Masha is still going strong, but one thing wrong- she is not a stray cat. How I know this? The family that owns the cat are my relatives.

Kittens can't regulate their body temperature well, so this cat saw a human kitten and thought, "aw man this little tyke is gonna die if I don't do anything. Gotta keep it warm and yell for adult humans."

Masha was being a good kitty by both human standards and cat standards. They recognise human babies as a sort of kitten, and know that since very young cats cant keep them selves warm, a cold kitten is a dead kitten. Warmed the kid with her own body and screamed for backup, doing exactly as her instincts told her to do ❤

Sort of like the mythological tale of Romulus and Remus. The twins were abandoned at birth and suckled by a she wolf. But in this case it's a she cat!

I hope they find the parents and charge them to whatever the maximum possible penalty is in that country. Sad those things happen.

Btw, if the info I got is correct, when Masha was chasing the ambulance, they actually stopped to let her in (probably to avoid risking her getting hit)
