Israeli violence in West Bank comes as world ‘distracted’ by Gaza horror: Analyst

The Israeli army is conducting one of the largest operations in the northern part of the occupied West Bank, in years. At least three people have been killed, including one in an Israeli air strike that targeted the Nur Shams refugee camp in Tulkarem.

Elsewhere in that city, Israeli bulldozers have been ripping up the pavement.
Armoured vehicles have also been entering the cities of Tubas and Jenin. There are reports of vehicles being targeted by explosives. Palestinian fighters are confronting the soldiers.

Israeli nationalists had a responsibility to manage the release of their hostages as a first priority. Within the Oct. 7 timeframe, the PM had the opportunity to reunite with his hostage Israelis if only he would have been willing to release as an exchange Palestinian detainee/prisoners. The PM should have coordinated that exchange, and the sought through jurisprudential means to reckon with the problem. The irony is that he knew that he had been torturing these Palestinians. He hoped apparently that he would never be held a point able for his murderous actions; therefore, he continued to gratify his superiority complex even as the ICC and ICJ have ruled against his invasive tactics of genocide.

Unfortunately, at least one woman, who lost her life on Oct. 7 as Hamas sought revenge against the PM and his supporters, had been advocating for the rights of the humble Palestinians of Gaza.
