Aah, this song brings back so many memories from middle school.

Our Chinese teacher was an old lady who lived under the rule of both Chiangs. She loves telling stories about her life, and one of her stories was about how they were taught to sing "Reclaim The Mainland" in school. Since she would often repeat stories that she had already told us several times, this song sort of became a class meme for us. During our school trip to Kaohsiung just before graduation, our class decided to sing "Reclaim The Mainland" together on the bus, and I still remember how my teacher laughed and sang along with us.
