I love that Joffrey is walking away and Tywin's like "Wait! One more jab!"
And without realizing it, Joffrey cements his position in the court as a spoiled, petulant child while trying to maintain that he is the King of seven kingdoms.
I think the swordfight equivalent to this mental battle would be Gregor Clegane vs. Bran Stark (post-partial-paralysis) Or maybe even like Clegane vs. a dyer's son who has never held a sword.

One who must say "I am the King" is likely one who prioritizes his own ego over his incumbent duties as a monarch and the constituent charges he takes in as subjects to his own court and realm. And because of that, he will never know what it truly means to rule over a domain...much less have others willingly follow his example.

The whole "no true king" line is great, but I love the follow up: "I'll make sure you understand that when I've won your war for you". There's no mistaking who the true power in the room, and even the realm, is. The man who wins the wars. At the very least, that's what Tywin believes wholeheartedly, and he makes Joffrey believe it too.

I just love Tyrion's expression. He's thinking "The Old Lion is shrewd, but he is still a fucking lion. Would he consider killing this his own grandson and putting the next one on the throne?"

Because I could totally see Tywin doing that. Joffrey already started a war for no reason - enough shit talking back to Tywin and maybe he gets his face eaten.
