I have had this camera for a few years now and love it. Yeh its entry level but you get a lot of bang for your buck. I wont be upgrading for quite awhile. The focus points are easily viewable through the viewfinder and its not dim. 95% of the time i take photos using the viewfinder and dont have any issues. Any website you look people are happy with their purchase.

This woman is wrong, I just bought this camera, and I also bought $70 flash to go on top and used it at two weddings and the pics can out very professional! Don't listen to this lady!!!

This lady shouldn't be allowed in front of the camera. Even though I love CNET, she never has anything nice to say AND her facial expression makes me think that she hates her job. Still love CNET though.

Personally, I have found it is more important to buy quality lenses, and learning how to take quality pictures. I know guys with cameras that cost $1000's and guys that have been using a camera that is 10 years old and their pictures look better than someone who has the latest and greatest.

Wow i don't really like the way she review about this Canon T5 it makes me feel Bad that i get this T5, that i got from black Friday, i feel it was a waste, of a money, but for me this is the best camera i got, it just i didn't like her review, and beside my brother is a Photographer, and i let him watch this video, and he said don't listen to that lady, because we as a Photographer we know way more better, and its not about just the model of Canon Camera, its about the Lens you use and how you will Edit them, make the image way more better, because all and most of the Photographer they edit the image on their Computer . and he said this is the best one he told me that i need to get, to learn how to fully control the Camera, and learn more stuff, so guys for me i will recommend this, just don;t listen to this lady he just want you to get a $1000 Dollars Camera

I bought a Sony A65 for my first DSLR and I'm glad I did, it's an amazing camera and didn't cost too much and I have no complaints, plus I can go right to the Sony store to get lenses, which is what I wanted.

don't listen to her I have this camera and it's amazing, the kit lens are good and other features this camera has . she just wants you to spend more money, anyway it's not so much about the camera it's about you who takes the pictures, is your stability, focus etc..
