Earlier this year, when he announced the change in his style, I was disappointed. Unfortunately, I wasn't a full listener of Static Reset back in the day, but I've loved his work since Reborn as Code:Pandorum. Real raw, unbridled power, pure energy that eats you up, chews you, spits you out and then stomps on you relentlessly. It was a difficult time in my life when I found his music. It's the biggest cliché to say it 'saved my life' and all that. But believe me - it gave me the strength to get up out of the mud (addiction is just that). Since then I've supported him as best I can, it's blasted practically everywhere from my headset to my car. Everywhere. Several times a week. On reflection, I understand his decision - he was incapable of renewal, no matter how hard he tried. In any case, I wish him with all my heart that the new path he has chosen will bring him the greatest possible victory. He deserves it, because I consider his work to be by far the best of any contemporary producer. I am grateful that such a dark, dystopian miracle as this song could be created. The chorus and the drop are absolutely amazing, it gives me goosebumps every time I hear it.
