The song was written by Franco Migliacci & Jimmy Fontana, originally in Italian, entitled "Che sarà" and it was performed in the San Remo festival of 1971 by José Feliciano.
Mike Brant had released his French version in April 1972 and gained a huge success - selling more than a million copies.
