I've had one of these for a few years. The stand alone variant without pump. - it's glass, but its a robust feeling glass. (I've had mine to pieces a couple of times and assembled it again no problem) - however it IS heavy, and because of the large size of the 270 it therefore has the capacity to hold quite a large volume of coolant which will add to the weight.


As mine has no integrated pump I inverted mine and use what would have been the fill port as the outlet to the pump and the 3 outlets as inlet, fillport and and an extra inlet to open to allow air to get in when filling or emptying. - this required a little easy modding to add a drop pipe inside so the coolant flow in will always be below the level of coolant.

i bought the 270 x4 combo and im qi=uite impressed and absolutely love it .its definately large but i made it fit in my mid size versa n24 case ill keep this until it dies and buy another. worth every penny.

Hey man question, I have the O11 Dynamic case, and I think I can't fit this res/pump. I don't see anywhere to mount it, how do you go about mounting it?

I just bought the Thermaltake tower 900. I'm in search of 2 pump/reservoirs for it. I did some research and I'm finding that the thermaltake pump and reservoir are very loud and they don't last too long. I'm seeing reviews of this reservoir and they're all good, plus I love this res. Only downside is that I'll have to mount it to the bottom. I heard you mention that you did it successfully. Can you explain or send a link to some pics. It would really help me out. Good review, keep pounding on xspc's door eventually they'll contact you. Hope my sub helps.

I don't know much about water cooling but in their website it says it has 1 out and 2 in ports at the bottom, i wanted to put a drain hose in with a tap, so can i connect that to one of the in ports, would that work?

I have a thousand things I can make a video and say I have. So, what did you cool? Cpu, Gpu, what were youre temps? You call this a review. I can review a 1000 things just to make a youtube video. Do youre job and review the product, or just change the title too. I'm not reviewing this product, i'm just going to tell you about it. See the difference? Some advice. If you want to beg a company for a product just to try and get something for free. Try actually reviewing the product first.
