I've never related to a poem more. Grew up in Nigeria just like he described with the lanterns and night time stories. Left for the US for school and in search of a better life. Havent been home in 5 years now. And I know I'm doing it for my family's future but damn, I miss my home. The lantern smoke here doesnt smell the same
