'It's not about being a woman or being a man, it is about being able to deliver...', a statement that I think strongly describes what leadership or any position should strive for. I hope to convince this to my junior Air Cadets.

What do infantryman reservists do in their local home units? Like what roles do they play when they aren't volunteering for deployment?

Some things are definitely impossible because I'm sitting here with 20/20 vision in my right eye and around 20/40 vision in my left and I can't get into a combat job.

A very affectionate greeting and with much respect to you my Sergeant Major Guay. In Panama there is an officer who I also respect very much and is from Senafront. Greetings to you, Sergeant Major Guay, and feeling proud to be Canadian. Bravo!👍

Surprised to see infantry not in CADPAT - are they wearing the new multicam we've been hearing about?

Why are the vision standards so high? Every combat trade you need next to perfect vision, yet in the US, the UK, New Zealand, the French Foreign Legion, it's all lower, I know because I messaged them and called them. So you need 20/20 and 20/30 vision corrected to be in combat, but to be a boatswain which is essentially naval infantry you don't? These are the questions I ask myself. Now since I can't get in I'm having to look at ever alternative, Russian armed forces take foreigners, New Zealand takes foreigners, Australia, the FFL, the UK, but there's always a stipulation to get in. It's overly complicated.

I listen to Shai Leboeuf in my weaker moments. Do it! Just do it! Make your dreams come true.

I remember playing as we called it Bruce Lee basketball, Bruce lee broomball Bruce Lee any sport in the army. Bruce Lee meant no rules full on contact broken nose's and good ole fashion fun. We would wipe the blood off and tilt a few pints. Good times. lol

Before joining the military, do yourself a favor and watch the movie Zeitgeist.
