When the flywheel broke, the convertor and flywheel were now free to move. This may create a momentary loss of engine to driveline power, and when it jerks to move again, it allows power to flow through the driveline. I am thankful the flywheel did not explode! Believe me when I say that flywheel explosions are NOT GOOD. Taylor's analysis of the failure is priceless.
