The true about the IBANEZ JEM JR / My Thoughts.

This is a used guitar about from guitar center,
it seems this guitar have never been played
Pretty much because some frets issue on the strings one and two mainly.

I’m gonna do some fret leveling, crowning amd polishing because when you do vibratos feel like a sanding papper effect plus it makes some noises.

This guitar is like a great canvas if you’re willing to spend some extra money doing some upgrades like:
New pickups, new floud rose and probably some frets work if you’re a demand guitarist.

The guitar is kind of light weight which is great if you play 3 sets.
Other than that I think is a good guitar for the price.

I got one, same colour, it was a bit clunky so I had it set up, plays fine , but I’m just a bedroom player / occasional gig player . Good honest video 👍🏻

Choking at lower frets means your neck has a bit of a back bow. Slightly slacken off the Truss Rod and you should be fine

I had one of these for about 3 months and it wasn't all I hoped it would be so I sold it. I then got an RG550 and it is superb. It was cheaper to buy that than to upgrade a budget guitar as every thing about it is better than the Jem Jr.

I looked at one of these at the local music store and it felt so CHEAP! The body felt like a big hunk of plastic instead of wood. Totally uninspiring. I had the cash to buy it but I’ll wait for something better.

Bruh, u literally bought defective guitar, there is no way u randomly catch such a problem with strings, u can go to the store and again just pick up random 200$ guitar and there's no chance u can have such a problem, your guitar has nothing to do with the fact that it's budget, it's your specific unique problem, i never had this one guitar, but its easy to judge seeing how u described your problem
