Why avoid Pirelli Cinturato P7 Tires, Camry, 30k miles experience

Here is how these tires fared over 30k miles of daily driving in 3 years, not good tires and not recommended.
They are noisy & uncomfortable, around 68-69dBA @ 60-65 mph

I have the Pirelli Cinturato P7 on my 2009 Toyota Camry. My experience with the tires is the total opposite. They are great! 30, 000 kilometers (18, 000 miles) in and the tires still look brand new.

Of course, I do regular tire maintenance:
- Monthly tire pressure checks
- 5- tire rotation (Yes, I have a full-sized spare tire.) every oil change
- wheel alignment every other oil change

It costs less money to do these than to not take care of my tires. If I don’t do these, it’ll just make me buy new tires more often, which is expensive.

Technically not Cinturato P7, these are summer touring tyres. Thumbnail is also showing a P7C2, a 2020 model.

I just surpassed 70, 000 P7 235/45 R 18 on my P7 as/plus.

Other than being careful in wet conditions, best tires I've had.

I maintain cold tire pressures, rotate at regular intervals and had an excellent alignment.

Result: over 70K right now. GoIng to get the new Pirelli P7 as II. Apparently the wet performance has improved.

They are just not the best tires for your car. I bought an accord coupe with 116k miles and these tires came on this car, quite worn out. I estimated I’d need to replace them in 5-7k miles. Here we are almost 27k miles later and one of the tires is at the wear bars...I think I might go with these tires again.

i just bought the 2 version, it's really highly rated and in most categories seems better than a lot of other top notch tires. grip comfort quiet, and a 700 wear rating? idk how they do all this!

Many do not know that we should choose tires not on our own whim, we should choose those approved by the manufacturer of our car so they can avoid these problems. Ask if the tire we like is approved by the manufacturer of the car. Regards

I got 39, 000 in 3 years on my contirato p7. Pirelli just gave me 45% warranty on new ones. All treads were below 2/32. Hopefully the version 2 is better. That they will put on .

You need to know the treadwear befor you make a review.

Almost 50, 000 kilometers on a set of tires is not enough? Are you kidding me? The tire is supposed to wear, providing traction ... A tire on which you will travel more than 50, 000 kilometers is a crap made of hard rubber that does not provide grip. This video is a failure.

Hi Amer, interesting review, could I ask some questions please?

Did you specifically buy Cinturato All Season's as an all season/cross climate tyre?

If yes to the above, did you compare them to other all season/cross climate tyres?

Where were these Cinturatos made? Mexico or Germany? There are two types, Eg Porche approved versions (N.O) are German made.

30, 000 miles isnt a bad mileage, depending on car, tyre type and driving conditions. Eg on Avon M&S tyres on a 4x4 I've had 60, 000 miles use. On a mid engined sports car, that had to have sticky Bridgestone tyres, I've had 16, 000 miles, similar on a 2.0L sports coupe with Michelin Pilotes. Most run of the mill cars we've had tyres last between 25, 000 miles and 40, 000 miles.

Sadly in the UK the condition of our roads is getting worse, due to incompetence and corruption in high places, road condition wears tyres, suspension quicker and often destroys tyres before they're life expired.

You must have gotten a bad or old batch, my set was installed when the car had 30k miles. The car now is 94k and i still have good amount of thread. Im sure they will easily go over 100k miles surpassing the warranty thats 70k miles. Good luck with your new Toyos, they are excellent tires as well

Pictures of your worn out Pirellis, would have gone a long way.

Nah man. My P7 A/S Plus' are the best tires I've ever driven on. Solid on highways, city roads, all season grip. Even in a snow storm after 3 years and 30-40K miles, they were holding up great. I got about 55, 000-60, 000 miles on them!

It would have been nice to review the tires instead of look at the paperwork. So many variable come in to play with tire performance and longevity. 30k miles does seem low but other users have seen much higher mileage out of theirs. Were the tires rotated regularly? I just bought the cinturato p7 all season plus II's hoping I don't get similar mileage.

Thanks for sharing. 30k miles is very less. I stumbled upon this as I am replacing my 60k miles michelin defenders. I might still go with the Pirelli C AS plus as I am getting them for $350 installed for all 4. So it may be worth it.

LOL my perelli p7's lasted about 11k miles. Just basic driving, highest speed I go is 70mph at times on the freeway. No extra stuff.

Дело не в модели p7, а в размере шин, он мал для этой машины, поэтому такой износ.

30miles that’s normal how can you dog them off as being poor.
Do a review in another 30miles and then review both set of tyres.
