Expedition Utah Part 1 - Rim Rocker Trail - Montrose to Moab

Every summer we go on a 10 day overlanding trip out west. This year we would focus on Utah by starting on the Rim Rocker Trail from Montrose, Colorado to Moab, Utah. Rim Rocker is 160 miles and is best to do it over 3 days to have time and enjoy the scenery along the way. The views along the trail are incredible and we lucked out with 2 epic camp sites.

You just added another desert trail to my bucket list, one that looks appropriate to my excitement level these days while providing puhlenty of the great Colorado and Utah scenery. We just got back from a trip to Gettysburg, PA. We hit VA, D.C., Maryland, PA, & WV. Did get to get off-road as much as I wanted but it was awesome.

Love the RimRocker! Just did it in May! Did not encounter a single person on the trail. Some epic camping spots along the way. Great video! Glad we beat the record heats that some areas of Colorado and Utah are experiencing right now.

I wish we had some of that snow down below here right about now. It's been hotter and drier than hell in the Denver area. The night sky video was fantastic.
