I miss normal school.. This online school for me personally has been AWFUL! I have never been so stressed out in my life for school. It's difficult to pay attention, staring at a computer screen.. No matter what I do... Hurts my eyes and I have more headaches than ever. I have the worst Wi-Fi connection and have missed so much school, notes, and so much more and I am having the worst time trying to keep up. It's my senior year and I feel like I'm not gonna graduate because of this.. I'm exhausted all the time, can hardly understand the teachers and have had so many panic attacks and anxiety attacks, that are making things worse no matter what I do, and it ruins my want to even do school... I love school but with all this online school.. I honestly just feel like I don't even want to do anything anymore and it makes me so upset and just drained..

I graduate in 2021, I'm just wondering how I'm supposed to get my 60 credits when I'm going to have 3 electives and 3 regular classes

Hello CBS! Can you please add closed captioning? I wish to show this video to my class, but this does not comply with accessibility standards. Please do not make it harder for students or even individuals in the deaf community. Please do not make them feel even more ostracized in a society that ignores accommodations. Thank you!

I taught for 34 years. I am skeptical that on-line learning is the answer. I struggled to get students to bring a pencil to class. Until I bought gross of golf pencils, but that didn't prevent them from writing on the desks instead of completing the lesson. And the students today are expected to substitute hours to make up for their absence in front of a licensed, educated teacher for something on their computer, notebook or phone - good lick with that, suckers.
But, of course, it's the teacher's fault. Always.
I thank the Lord that I'm retired.

. Find Jesus and ask Him for forgiveness of your sins....He paid the ultimate price so you wouldn't have to. Do good for those who need it when you have the opportunity. Praise God for seeing us through hard times that we do not see reasonings behind. I pray everyone who reads this finds peace and refuge in His Hands, Amen.

I teach in NYC. Recently Mercy College AA. published a story about how I've been trying to hold it down.
"NYC public school teacher, Jesse Means, tore apart his one-bedroom apartment to create a virtual classroom that rivaled any other and began [Mr. Means Music here on YouTube] to create videos for his young music students. The changes in education delivery prompted by the pandemic have opened new discovery for his students and their parents."

Well... I will say that having children to stay at home and learn has helped to increase parental involvement in their child's education! It has also helped to reduce the amount of disruptions that interfere with student learning in the classroom setting...
I actually have some students who are doing their class work now that they are home!! It is not up to the schools to babysit and parent your child... In fact, I would make more money babysitting instead of teaching!!!!
