Very good video Prasad. I would like to add some from the history of the land a lot from what was being said when SEZ scheme was first announced in 2005 or 2006. RIL purchased large peices of land in Raigad district of Maharashtra close to Panvel through their front men. Land was very cheap at that time. Money and threats used to acquire much of land and RIL had to show acquisition of certain amount of area before SEZ could be declared and RIL would be able to purchase remaining land. But villagers and farmers opposed SEZ scheme and then collector of Raigad held a referendum in which the locals won and SEZ in this area did not materialize. However, land already purchased using RIL money remained in the names of the front men. The value of this land has increased manifold
