I love that you are keeping it real. As a new youtuber, when I hear larger channels talk about “small channels of 5-10k and statements like low views of only a 1000 views a day, I am thinking I would be amazed to have 100 subscribers and a couple of views, haha. I think perspective changes the bigger a channel gets.

It’s so worth it especially when you have a job. I’m a nurse and I just got monetized. I made 450 USD the first month(July) and I was shocked and so was my family. Because I have a job, this is my whatever you want to do money💰. I love doing YouTube and that makes it easier. People who go in it for the money are the ones that will be disappointed. Congratulations on your journey! I watched your "Finally Monetized" video and this one. I will certainly watch more on this topic. I created my YouTube channel years ago to share some videos with family. I then added videos of me reading stories for my one year old grandson in June 2024 and am almost at 100K views and 265 subscribers. That is a happy accident! Your insight is helpful and I hope to monetize and improve my channel. I had over 4000 views on some of my videos, but only 10 on others. It is a mystery to how it all works. Thank you!
