speeding on Long Island is a huge problem, speed limit is 55 MPH to 65 MPH on 27a and everyone is easily doing over 100mph which is unacceptable and reckless, laws need to be made on Long Island if you get caught speeding it should be considered reckless endangerment and immediate loss of your drivers license and heavy heavy fines

That's why I try to avoid the highways as much as possible, crashes still happen on local roads but at lower speeds. Plus there's red lights and stop signs not very convenient, but still gives some pause or break to constantly staring straight and foot on the gas
