Change hardware ID (HWID) of your computer.

hardware identity or HWID of a computer is an essential identity of any computer. This can be updated or edited by various processes for various usage. One of the approaches is to use the Award DMI configuration utility available with Hiren's boot CD 15. In this video, I have explained, how to change the hardware ID of a computer using the said tool. This process updates values stored in the firmware flash of a motherboard and is a relatively sensitive process. You should be more than careful while implementing the changes.
This process will be extremely helpful for OEM service personnel towards the activation of Windows, post replacement of motherboards.
