i love nature, I love old buildings that have soul, I love walking streets and discovering things and people, really there is nothing for me to love in this dystopian place. Not only will it kill a lot of wildlife (birdstrikes, disturbing migration, etc) but the building materials needed alone will make it an environmental disaster. That money will be better invested in buying the remaining primary forests and making sure deforestation is a thing of the past.

"when Saudi Arabia is mentioned, two things come to mind first. Desert and oil."
oh, I was thinking planes and skyscrapers.

Thanks. I have seen videos about this project but yours is truly great. All the details about the project are explained lucidly. The language, the narrative & the narrator are extraordinary. The animation is spot on. Thanks for making such a high quality video about the NEOM project. Cheers!!

how is building a wall that blocks out wind from the sea a good idea? And it's a line, the distance you must travel from one point to another, there will be no shortcut possible.

Imagine the cost alone in cleaning both sides of that mirrored facade

That's why playing creative mode on Minecraft is essential to investigate such problems. I'm doing my part little by little atleast ! 😆

Raise it up... instead of housing project for people, fewer would be needed. They are modern farmers and advanced system operators... turn it into an energy source as well as an ultimate farming endeavor... miles of regulated farming could supply countless people with fresh produce... including ultra modern farming integrated electric harvesting equipment for ultimate efficiency. Animal husbandry, apiarists(Friendly bee colonies), multiple crop types, several fisheries, fruit and nut trees, (it's ok we will still require to a lesser degree small integrated communities as well as industrial zones, small resort type cities for recreation, etc.). This can ultimately be use as a water transport and storage facility using it for the farming part as well as maintaining climate control... humidity levels as well as cooling and thermal turbine engines fueled by directional mirrors to generate steam... Toot, Toot. automatic rain forest did you say... power and hot water for homes? smaller versions for rural sections but solar collection may prove well suited for this system... just saying

anything's possible when your not paying for it, best explanation to why oil prices per barrel have skyrocketed, Saudis are having the world pay for this, they are looking out towards the future to when their wells dry up

The urge to create something better and new isn’t the problem. It’s how realistic is a line as opposed to a circular design. Especially when transportation is required. Not a terrible idea. Just the wrong delivery of the idea.

To be honest, they DO have technology for trains to move faster than Mach 2! They only don't want US to know their technology! The released technology (the one ordinary people use) is already 50 years old! It's just that the ordinary population is kept ignorant about it...
