You are doing what you love and the true fans of editors would celebrate your love and elevate your desire to create, inspire, and change people's lives. You music has always found a way to help me understand what I'm feeling and help me through adolescence, deaths, love, and triumphs. Thank you for being yourselves a not listening to the crowd.

Actually I just thought to myself yesterday that 'In Dream' might be my favorite record of yours. As my favourite band you never managed to disappoint me, but these songs speak so deeply to me that I get shivers all the way through.
Hearing them live a few days ago jut reassured me how great you all are (with 'Salvation' being outstanding live). Lots of love, can't wait for November. <3

In retrospect this album is really a definitive work. Often I find Editors live tracks due to some of the mixing and production decisions. However, Justin did an awesome fcking job! It is great to listen to the studio versions on the album. I wish Violence was produced the same way. Thankfully Tom is the best vocalist/frontman I know. So there will be lots of live material. He's my favorite frontman for a modern band btw because he's never off pitch and gives such passion.

P.S. You guys should track down videos when Editors introduce a new song; he has so much passion. I like the Best Kept Secret indoor performance of No Harm. You can just feel Tom's nervousness and the point where he looks over and smiles at Justin because he gets into the groove. Well that's enough fanboying for tonight. Can't for the three East Coast shows here in America.

I enjoy this record so much more than your last one! It's much darker and has more emotions I think. The Law and Forgiveness are definitely my favourites, but the whole album is just fantastic. Keep it up!

Pomimo, iż tak różni się od poprzedniej, uważam, że jest kapitalna ! Na początku trzeba się do niej przekonać, to zupełnie inny rodzaj muzy. Słucham jej jadąc do pracy i z pracy codziennie już od prawie miesiąca. Próbowałam zmieniać grupy, ale nic innego mi nie podchodzi, wszystko inne mnie nudzi. Jestem zauroczona. Myślę, że zrobili kawał dobrej roboty !
Z niecierpliwością czekam na koncert. :-)))

This new one falls within that In this Light territory, but its definitely better than it. Still enjoy Back Room and its companion End has a Start, but your masterpiece is Weight of Your Love.

Well, personally i loved the previous rock record ( i like a lot the sound of guitar and bass and i definitely like to hear clear melodies without a mess of computer generated sounds ) but i understand that the band wants to follow another road. In this album, there are songs that i like ( no harm, life is a fear, the law ) but none of them reaches the pure beauty of "The weight" for example. Lucky me, i recently found out the acoustic ( only guitar ) versions of "life is a fear", "papillon" and"munich" which are all great versions for my taste.

I love you guys, your lyrics are unmatched by any band I think. Tom, your voice is amazing, natural baritone and perfect. But musically you guys shot yourselves in the foot. Your third album is considered your worst one, you got lucky that papillon did well, otherwise it would've been a complete disaster. Your early sound was amazing, first two albums were brilliant. I have been a fan since 2007, and I still find myself longing for a chance to play Fingers in the Factories or The End Has a Start. You guys went back and expanded upon this sound in The Weight of Your Love, and it has become one of my favourite albums of all time. Hyena and Sugar are both masterpieces. And you achieved this through a much more rock-type sound. I'm sad to see this newest album be like your third, though I hope we can see better in the future. You are all very talented musicians, and I will always be an editors fan, cheers.

light side:
i am ok with new editors. not in evereything they do... but i am ok with it. there are some realy good songs and some realy bad - for my oppinion of course - then its art and art is taste...and taste can be different...
dark side:
when they feel good to make musik as a band without chris urbanowicz then ok. but what i find realy disturbing about how they present the cut of chris. i have no great problem that it happend - but how it happend! one of the bandmembers went to him and said "ok - you're out!" !?wtf!? when it happend exactly that way and this is the only background then its realy disgusting. and this is what makes me feel bad about the three rest/main/members of editors and the whole thing. i think and belive there happend more then a different kind of ideas for the new record. but how they present the cut of chris is shamefull - aspecialy for a huge fan of the first three albums.
