" 'Old Man Trump' is a song with lyrics written by Woody Guthrie about the racist housing practices and discriminatory rental policies of his landlord Fred Trump. The lyrics were written in 1954 but it was never recorded by Guthrie. In January 2016, Will Kaufman, a Guthrie scholar and professor of American literature and culture at the University of Central Lancashire, unearthed the handwritten lyrics while performing research for a book about Guthrie at the Woody Guthrie Archives in Tulsa, Oklahoma."

My Father knew. He had all Woody Guthrie's 78s records. Wish he kept them WWII/ New Guinea. Nipmuc Native American passed at 97. He taught me to STAND Up for my rights🪶

A group has done a version of Ain't Got No Home with these lyrics inserted as just another verse. I didn't recognize the melody, and it didn't feel like a Woody song at all....but you've done it the way I would imagine Woody doing it, and I can't thank you enough for having made this available. I've known about the existence of this song for decades....I think Arlo mentioned it in an interview, where he mentioned that Fred had put pressure on Woody to help enforce his little red line. In looking for the song, and reading various things written about it, I haven't seen any mention of the attempt at getting Woody to behave sure wish I could recall exactly where and when I heard that.
