Born and raised Albertan here: Smith is a disgrace and a traitor. She isn't even doing any of this for Alberta. She is well known for doing only what is best for Smith, and has even crossed the floor in the leg and betrayed her own party more than once. What Canadians need to remember is that Carney led Canada through the 2008 banking meltdown around the world and we came out almost unscathed. Countries like Iceland and others were devastated by it. Many countries also couldn’t believe how little we Canada were impacted by this. Carney was the man that quietly, methodically steered the ship through this war zone. He’s not flashy, almost boring to watch but he’s directing the ship and the results are already starting to show. You always have to watch out for the strong silent types! Elbows Up!
