Let’s get started with Nvidia, Today was their GTC presentation and there was one thing I took away from it. Well there’s more, but one of them shook me. Jensen’s hair. That’s it, no comments, just Jensen’s hair.

But for real, what Nvidia revealed is pretty cool. They’re pushing to have Nvidia-designed ARM Gpu’s everywhere. Jensen mentioned cloud-based game streaming, Scientific computing, edge and enterprise and. And really that’s what surprised me.
PCs and notebooks… Also, we talk about Ryzen 7000 CPU’s with navi 2x.

My expectation is that AMD CPUs that currently have an empty chiplet slot will be the ones that get the integrated graphics. So anything above the _800X would remain iGPU-less. Getting a 5600G at launch would have been huge for certain audiences. (And also for many more audiences during the current dGPU shortages...)

The 4000G series used the same chips as the Laptop series. They couldn't make enough to keep up with the demand as soon as people saw the performance of the AMD laptops.

They had to satisfy OEMs before they could consider selling them to end users.

I guess the fancy new APUs with Navi 2 and better is why we've only had Vega in the current APUs...

ARM CPU + NVidia GPU on a single package existed for almost a decade and it's called Tegra. And not they are not coming to computers unless windows really figure out the x86 and ARM compatibilty

Is that Maxine thing real-time-only like the RTX voice? If so, I don't get it; why not allow processing existing files. If I could enhance already-recorded audios and videos, the software would be much more useful, because I am, like a lot of other people, are not a "streamer".

Don't forget the reason you would go intel is that they are affordable, they offer great gaming performance, they are in stock and they have iGPUs.
