An actual easiest song is ""Horse with no Name" by America, only two chords (one of which being e minor, the easiest main guitar chord) and some D6 variation that is also extremely easy to play.

Seven Nation Army also has the A string tuned to G as the 'bassline' is also the guitar that uses a slide. I think Standing in the Sun by Slash is an easier riff on one string. Like Immigrant song but no octaves.

There are some songs that are performed a capella, using guitar just as percussion. Russian example is Ольга Чикина - Лётчица, but I suppose there are some English songs of that kind - however, they need good vocal skills
