Georgia Tech Online Master's: 3 Reasons Why I Dropped My Online Computer Science Degree

The Georgia Tech Online Masters in Computer Science is great but unfortunately, it isn't for me anymore. Today I share three reasons why I ended up dropping the major twice.

I took my first class back in 2017 and it turned out that we were all laid off and I had to get a job. The new job was demanding so i ended up dropping to be able to survive my new job. I re-applied in spring 2019, I kept taking 1 class at a time. I am about to take my last class and graduate in spring 2022. THis video just re-inforces me what never to do. Never quit, never look for an excuse to quit, keep on going, never surrender, ... that is the difference between people that make it and people who don't.

A year ago I gave you shit for quitting. A year later, I understand this video very much. And not for the same reasons. I never started a masters. But its not about that. Its about discovering yourself. The is a difference between self-discipline and listening to the heart from time to time. I apologize.

I have a similar dilemma right now, I applied to the OMSA at GT which is a really good value, but I realized that I am more productive and thrive from learning in a physical environment. I am still contemplating direction

I dropped out after two semesters, working in a group with Indians at 3AM and 4 AM EST was very painful. They did score me very bad also for missing one meeting.
Not sure why they will pul 3 guys from India with one guy from USA EST into the same group

This degree is nice to have it is not as hardcore as a full time in person degree
