The original is good because there's that moment of silence that enhances the explosion, and also enhances the cry of "Magical Splash Flare". The redesign could work if the sound effects were used in previous episodes. One thing anime production companies do is give sound effects character. A specific sound will be used only for a particular power or weapon that belongs to a character. I think if the way the wand reverberates with the cling at the end was the main sound effect whenever Mamika uses "Magical Splash Flare", the second one would be better in context.

They are both good but you are missing the punch that the original has. It doesn’t feel like it going to you while the original feels like you are there at the explosion

The original intensifies the impact of the explosion making it more destructive and chaotic which is good unlike the redesign version which feels like its filling a void in the explosion and not that impactful .

I'm sorry my dude, but you picked the wrong explosion to try and improve. The original sound cannot be improved upon. It was literally perfect. It was literally the best part of the entire show bar none. Yours wasn't bad but it was not even close to better. You just picked the wrong explosion to change imo. This one was PEAK SFX

Yeah the first one. Something is lost(in the second)
drowning out the voices in the effects of their power. The voices let you know “oh they’re putting everything on the line, Including life”😢😮🤯🥶😡😳😱
