2022 BMW xDrive 25e: About as niche as it gets

The BMW X2 was already something of a niche product, with its part-SUV-part-coupe styling, but if that weren't enough, the xDrive 25e version makes things even more niche by adding a plug-in hybrid drivetrain.

Its 1.5-litre petrol engine and electric motor combine to give a very healthy 220 horsepower, sent to all four wheels via a six-speed automatic gearbox. It has an electric-only range of 32 miles, and if you don't call upon the petrol motor too often, you can expect real-world fuel economy of about 60mpg.

My Dad has one of these and loves it... he is averaging 90mpg as he plugs it in daily and only drives 10-40 miles per day.

Did this model have the stiffer M-Sport suspension or the normal base (SE/Sport) suspension as i don't see anything listed on the BMW Configurator for the PHEV? How does the weight feel compared to the xDrive 20i, as i assume that the other model mentioned in comparison was the FWD sDrive version?

So it's an SUV, but it's not very sporty, leaving it a "UV". But it's not very practical, either. So that just makes it a "V". 🤷‍♂

No thanks Rebecca used to drive 1 and 3 series BMW's but them days are well gone, as a single driver who needs a big heavy chunky car, which in cornering is not that great according to your own words?

Why waste all that money on that rubbish when you can buy a normal petrol car New or used for a lot less and a lot more fun to drive keep using as long as you can get them as fuel will last a lot longer even when electric cars fully kick in
