I'm surprised you guys didn't mention buying a scanner. It's such a huge oversight.

I don't actually know if my way is cost effective, but a Nas provides tons of storage for a reasonable price, provides decent backups with raid, but most importantly its local so uploading doesn't take forever.

I prefer flickr, since it offers much more storage space than the other services, also, it has the tagging feature to find my wanted photo among hundreds of photos.

Wasn't their a story about photographer that had tons of picture stored online an some dbag of the company delete all those picture accidentally! At the end the company recover only about 5% or so off all his picture an gave him a 2 1/2 yr Premium services free for the mixup. Don't trust online storge much cause of their privacy since they can use your picture without ur permission for profit on ads.
