I bought a new Kicks SV in 2019 and really liked the vehicle. Good on gas and super reliable. Even when I returned to pick up my car after being away at work for two weeks, it started despite sitting outside in -50*C weather. Just traded it in today for a 2024 Kicks SV. I like it.

Just bought one for my wife. She is upgrading from a Honda Fit. Loves the new car. The safety features is what sold it for me. The mechanicals are basic but they get the job done. I think the CVT issues affected the higher horsepower versions more than the low power cars . They have improved over time. Thanks for the review.

We have fully loaded 2020 in the family love it. Just changed CVT fluid at 40k.

I have a 2024 kicks SR since June. So far I'm very happy with it. It's just the right size for me. Good on gas..plenty of storage room in the trunk. The only thing I miss is a CD player. I have heated seats and heated steering wheel.

8:10 The good news is that the manual transmission of the Versa is a possible bolt-on if you are on your 3rd cvt, I think I would give in before.

I think.I am going to look at the SR level. It has heated steering wheel and heated seats. I miss the Rogue Sport, although this is similar.

I love my brand new 2024 kicks SV it’s safe drives good great gas mileage 12 miles when I bought it I have the 2 tone trim back and scaret amber Nissan just said keep up the schedule maintenance plus I have an extended warranty

I bought one of these last week, going to pick up some new floor mats for it from the dealership tomorrow. My only real problem is that it lacks ANY power. It drives nice though...

Im sad this wasnt the SR trim i wanted to compare it directly with the versa SR! Im okay with the versa my wife misses her 2019 rouge so im sure she would rather the Kicks. Were downgrading from a frontier to save on gas and payment to grind out debt and invest in our new home. I imagine getting the versa sr and passing it to my son (8) one day but that transmission probably wont make it lol

The only complaint I have about the nissian (and this is coming from a 1 day owner 😁😁so take my complains with grain of saolt) I hate how ungracefully the glovebox just flops with a thud, absolutely 0 pump action or spring or what ever makes them open up nice and softly these just as soon as you open they come down with a thud no stop. And how GAWD DAMN small the storage for arm rest compartment is like WOW I seen sedans with bigger compartments than that no even joking. I felt offended, robbed almost seeing how little space the compartment had

Just so you know, you would not get the Venue at a cheaper price than the Nissan Kicks. Hyundai dealers make you take add-ons before they will sell you the car. Also, why do you insist on maintenance from the dealer? Many like me don't trust them and have had very bad experiences with them and prefer a trusted mechanic.

I have a 2020 Kicks. My transmission needed to be replaced at the end of 2023.

Just wish it would have been a nice color instead of that every car review color. Why is it every time you watch one of these reviews for the most part they are top level trim and a boring color. With today's economy, more and more people are shopping base trim. And you would think manufactures would want to show the car in a nice bright color to spark interest. But no.

Dealer maintenance is a sham, sorry. But I understand why you need to promote it since your videos use dealership cars. If you live in an area with heavy snow, be forewarned: this car does horrible in even the lightest dusting, with slipping and sliding commonplace. The same goes for heavy crosswinds. If you are buying a Nissan Kicks, consider getting an extended powertrain warranty that will cover the total cost of the transmission replacement if it fails. The mere fact that Nissan only offers a 36k warranty sends warning sighs. Nissan already stopped production of the Kicks in India last year due to poor sales.
