Fiat Stilo Rear Indicator Bulb Failure

For the attention of anyone visiting from my thread on Fiat Forums.

Any help/ advice is appreciated, this is driving me up the wall!

Had the same problem on my Punto Mk2. The metal connectors in the rear lamps panel had become corroded. Easy job to fix, just unbolt rear lamps panel, unclip, use a small file to remove the corrosion.

I drove with that error light on my fiat punto mk2b 3 years untill I sprayed with contact spray, a month ago, and it worked! No error light on the dashboard.
You should try, the lamps are exposed at umidity and they warn you for nothing, even if your lights work 100%.

I had the same problem..you have bad earth connection on rear lamp..you must make new earth wire directly on your lamp

Maybe too late to the party but it's probably condensation or a rusted cable. I had mine with an intermittent bulb failure pop-up on the rear brake light and all it needed was a new negative terminal on the light socket!

i have same problem, and my rear bulbs are ok, working. problem started after heavy rain. did you solved it?

Same problem here started to appear when I hold Breaks. Any Solution?

it my Stilo 1.2 was contacts on the rear fog lamps (5th door). Bulb on rear fog lamps were good.
The car is too smart and makes an alarm if it does not.
