The Japanese government can print as much JPY as it wants. There is no debt ceiling nor a watcdog like the British Office for Budgetary Responsibility.

China dumped US bonds.
Japan buys all US bonds.
US flew to Japan for "debt restructuring" in other word telling Japan to wipe off those bonds, hence Japan economy tumbling down.
Japanese people worked, ended up suicide or death by overworking, and all their hardwork is to pay American conglomerate getting richer and building up more debt.

The reason or a factor of it would be the fact that Japan depends economically strongly on the US.

Amazing, and your last economist said this all had to do with the MFG PMI being in the same state as it had been for the last 16 months. This sounds a bit more plausible.

Like all other countries, Japan does see the need to widen their trading markets, a global world, and is exploring that....I have every belief, that Japan will ride this financial challenge through, and see a healthier financial outcome in the near future....I'm NY 1962 Toms very British/Brazilian future wife MD...reality

As long as Japan is cheap I don’t care because I would like to buy a property as I probably wouldn’t be able to buy a property in the UK voluntarily.

Debt chasing non cash generating “assets”, while debt laden assets chasing debts, supporting massive government borrowing, while food production is fixed, water is limited, and low birth rates in the developed world. We’re delaying the inevitable. That’s why Berkshire Hathaway is stocking away so much cash. Major crashes are coming.
