I absolutely love this movie. What a classic. If only we could hold on to people and time. My Mum was 4 years old when this was released. She is 79 years old now and elderly herself. As said, time flies ❤

I have seen this film maybe 50x. Each time I see it, it is simply priceless. I can not stop laughing, and laughing, and laughing. Clifton Webb is a national treasure! Thank you.
I used to have 100s of VHS tapes and CDs with old Hollywood movies. It took up lots of closet space. Nowadays, Everything is on YouTube. Amazing.

Movies you can still watch with the whole family without being afraid that your children would hear cussing or see some kind sexual act. I believe today Hollywood does not want families to sit together rather divide and conquer. All shareholders are the same persons making it easier to see the agenda of broken families, leading to divorce, father out of the house, children lost, poverty then crime and mental health. Devices, contraceptives, medicines and more are all the results. The average person gets poorer and the same shareholders get more power over your own family. Thank you for uploading this fantastic movie for families that are still fighting to keep their families together and healthy.

What can I say ...exquisit. Wonderfull acting of Clifton Webb, I can tellu he remains me of my old granny raising me at 5 years old, Webb was just like her, even in the way he speaks.

The first of a trilogy. What a fantastic film. Definitely a gem of a film. Brings back so many memories of a simpler time. None of these action or sci fi films of today. Just pure family pleasure. Clifton Webb was a fantastic actor. Can't imagine anyone dancing like that nowadays. lol

ha! What a cute surprise - seeing "Thelma Lou" from The Andy Griffith Show as the teenage babysitter with a crush on Robert Young. That's half of the fun of these old movies....the familiar faces.

I love these old movies! Makes me wish I could've lived in that era in some ways. As a female boomer I can tell you females of my generation were not nearly as liberated in reality as we thought we were when we joined the workforce in the late 70s and 80s or into the 90s and 2000s.
