I played FF8 before FF7, so the summons seemed like drafts of some of the ones from from FF8.

Bahamut is always cool. Shiva and Ifrit are never a let down. I like their evolution from here through X.

But perhaps most memorable from FF7 was that weird pink thing I've never heard of either lol

I'm a newbie to the final fantasy franchise but my favorite summon is Shiva, especially in 8 as the way it's done looks super awesome! Odin is pretty great to.

Phoenix resurrects members that are down when he is summoned. S-tier. Hades gives status effects, lots of them. A-tier at least.
Knights of the Round was difficult to get, but for raw damage, its the best. There are better attacks, ie Omnislash and Highwind, but when just ranking summons, the raw damage can't be ignored.

KoTR is sitll S tier for ME in fact even with 9999 HP 999 MP party members I won't fight the CARRY ARMOR boss WITHOUT IT.
