the algorithm in 2k25 is wild. all i play is rec and the game will literally make you miss dunks, lay ups, wide open shots and call every foul for the opposite team if you are up by too many points. it almost seem like 2k already decides which team they want to win when the game starts.

Bro I work 10hrs get on the game to have “Fun” just to go against a team full of unemployed 99 while my team is full of brain dead AI’s, Y’all gotta stop muddying the True definition of “Casual” if the Die hard fans are getting it bad, ACTUAL Casuals getting it worst. Casual and 2k complainers are 2 different things. 🤦🏽‍♂️

I worked at 2K on this game and I wrote hella bugs telling Mike Wang himself that the shooting and dribbling mechanics had been completely cooked. I got fired 🤷🏽‍♂️

Adding tons of animations while at the same time locking them behind pay walls and level ups is wild 😂

man.. in 24’ the chase downs felt real, your player and the paint defense felt solid. now you move like your legs hurt, and i think it its a movement thing. cause the animations look and feel good but doesn’t feel like it matches game pace and feels choppy as hell.

Make user timing matter again 2K. We know we know we are timing our shots correctly. Stop getting in the middle of gameplay with RNG 2K. Making every excuse besides telling the defender you might want to guard up if you want him to miss.

We need 2k22's pie charts to limit what people can do but keep the cap breakers from 2k25 and add 2k23's badge point system. This will limit the way players spec their builds and reward those who want to put in the grind while also forcing different playstyle because the badge point system forces you to choose what badges you want to prioritize rather then 100k player all having 5'9s with 99 3pt and all legend shooting badges. If they implement this the next 2k will be goated.

All these animations, and ships, and robots in the park is trash. Gravity ball/cage matches is trash. Give us normal basketball. 2k16 without all them animations and kid shit.

NBA 2K25 is my last one. I've put a lot of hours into it and I'm convinced...these devs aren't listening and this game isn't going to change for the better. I'm moving on, I'm tired of this shit.

They’re handing out participation awards so people feel good and validated about their builds which means they’ll likely make more. 2k doesn’t care about its hard core fans they just want $.

Appeasing the casual player will be this company’s downfall

I wanna see Mike wang play basketball in real life before I pass judgement… it may be like … Ooooh I understand it now… 😂 imagine him getting bumped and ball stolen, rebounds ball stolen, missing lay ups, trying dunks but shooting lays because the wind not blowing right, trying to get clean catches but failing, dribbling slow getting an ankle breaker to be contested by the ankle breakee, then I’ll be like yeah it’s pretty accurate… oh I forgot the amazing amount of rebounds going over 7 footers heads into the hands of a 5 ft guard, or the fact no one and I mean no one can chase down a loose ball because the first 5 steps they take are in place.

What’s crazy is I just had a crazy session today. I went 5/6 for 16 points in the theater only missing a bad layup I shouldn’t have taken.

Went back very next game against a worse team with my same squad and went 2/6. Missing wide open 3s and pull ups with HOF set shot and HOF shifty.

The shit feels so random and it’s not fun man. It feels manufactured
