They re-recorded some of the audio for this because I guess people thought it was too aggressive. But, they kept the first half of some of his audio. So after the new version rolled out, to anyone who was familiar with the original, it sounded like the narrator had taken a prozac mid-sentence. Always made me laugh.

I agree with the Cinemark warning. Somebody or something has to get to people to get them to turn their cell phones off put them away and not talk during the movie.

The mood is more relaxed before the movies with the trailers, and typically a prompt before the movie is with a 'soft relaxing voice' such 'please silence your cellphones now. . .' It just feels really out of place, too lengthy, and unneeded. I went last week on an opening night, and people had their cellphones out everywhere anyone, one of them flashing each time they got a text. Then there were several people in the front yelling out 'jokes'. No one thrown out. So why have it?

I was at Cinemark a couple weeks ago, they edited this and the guy's tone is low and dull...people probably saw this as rude or something.

The lady in the row below me in the re-screening of Raiders of the Lost Ark apparently didn't get this message, so I relayed it to her as loudly as possible in the theater. We waited six months for the movies to reopen from Covid-19, and I'll be damned if you're gonna text in the theater!
